Deal: Pepsi and Frito Lay Products

I love Pepsi, but I don't buy it very often because it has gotten so expensive!!

But, I came across this "rebate" that coincided with Walgreen's sale on their Pepsi and Frito Lay products.

This is how the sale goes:
  • The Pepsi 12-packs are $3 each
  • 2-liter Pepsi products are 3/$4
  • Gatorade is 3/$3
  • Frito Lay Snacks are 2/$5

Buy $15 worth of Pepsi and/or Frito Lay Products, Get $5 Register Rewards
Buy $20 worth, Get $10 Register Rewards

And, there is a seperate offer from Pepsi Stuff. You can go here for the form.

Basically, buy (3) 12 packs or (2) 24 packs or (8) 2 liters of a qualifying pepsi product AS WELL AS (3)9oz or larger Frito Lay snacks or sauces/dips.

Submit the UPC codes as well as this form and receive $15 worth of coupons! You will get (5) $2 coupons good on future purchases of Pepsi products , (1) $3 coupon and (1) $2 coupon good towards Frito Lay products.

Your OOP for (4) 12packs would be $12 and $7.50 for 3 Frito Lay products. If you throw in one more item, like a Gatorade for $1, you will be at $20.50 OOP. This will qualify you for the $10 in RR, AND the $15 worth of coupons!

I hardly ever come by Pepsi or Frito Lay coupons, so this is a pretty good deal for me!

Before doing the deal, be sure to read all of the exclusions and fine print on the rebate form!

Happy Shopping!

Walgreen's Deals

I've been laying pretty low as far as the deals go the last few weeks, but there are some pretty good ones worthy of mentioning.

Thanks to Mercedes over at Common Sense with Money:

South Beach Diet Bars are currently on sale 2/$5. There is also a rebate in the Easy Saver Book for $5 when you buy $15 worth of Kraft products. So, buy 6 South Beach Bars and go here and print (6) $2 coupons. And get this, you can do all 6 on one computer!!! Just keep pushing the back button..but hurry! Your OOP for 6 boxes would be $3 and you would get $5 back by rebate! A $3 money maker and these babies are delicious! Our fave is the cinnamon raisin.

Also, thanks to Trina over at Fabulously Frugalicious:

The Benefiber Stick Packs (I know it sounds ucky..but it just like Crystal Light with a little fiber) are on sale 2/$10. And, when you buy 2, you get a $5 RR! There are $2 coupons all over the place for these, making the deal even sweeter. Your OOP for 2 boxes would be $6 and then you would get a $5 RR. Sweet Deal!

Thank you, ladies! And sorry for the boring post w/no pics..I was wanting to get it posted so you can take advantage of these great deals. They are only good through Saturday..so get on it! :)

Walgreen's Run

Oh how I love it when things work out as planned...or better! I originally had only 2 transactions planned, but I threw in a 3rd one for good measure! No, I found some more coupons that would work, and Noah was wanting a toy anyway.

This one is also a little different than normal, because I'm doing rebates for my mom, too because she doesn't have the time/patience/know how to do the deals on her own. I was giving her a good chunk of my deals, so why not let her have her own set of deals? I'm going to just show you the picture of all the goods, and spare the coupon mumbo jumbo and just show you the final totals.

You can always go here for the match-ups. And, if you have any questions...feel free to ask!

Walgreen's Midweek 12/10-12/13

These specials are in addition to the regular sales flyer. You can view the sales ad at Walgreens.com, or here (thanks to Slickdeals and HCW!).

If you haven't picked up your FAR items, now would be a good time to do so. The book only lists the Bald Guyz wipes for $4.99, but the L'Oreal (from November) is on raincheck...so don't forget to get it, too!

Highlights:

  • Spend $25 get $5 RR
  • 12 pk Pepsi Product 3/$10 Recieve $2 RR
  • Hershey's Holiday Candy 4/$10, $5 MIR
  • Scotch Tape 2/$2, $2 MIR making those FREE!
  • Aleve 2/$5 after in-ad coupon (various coupons circulating for these)
  • Arm and Hammer detergent $1.99 w/in ad coupon Use coupons from here . Final total: .99

There are numerous different scenarios here. One thing to remember is that the the $5 RR for spending $25 (holiday bucks) can roll. Also, the $25 is before all coupons (including in ad coupons) and RR!!! This is fantastic. And, because the holdiay bucks roll you can use it to "pay" for part of another $25 transaction, and still receive another one. But, you can only use one per transaction.

Also, the $5 holiday bucks are in addition to any other RR offered on a seperate promotion. So, to make most of a transaction you can buy mulitple RR items, or MIR items that you were wanting anyway, and receive the extra RR.

When making your plan don't forget all the deals from the regular sales flyer! Happy Shopping!

I'm back at it!

With all the deals at Walgreen's this week, I couldn't stay away! I can confirm that the $5 RR when you spend $25 DOES roll onto the next. There are almost endless possiblilites this week...especially if you buy perfume/cologne for Christmas gifts.

I ended up doing 3 transactions, and one got all messed up because it didn't print a RR. This got me all in a funk when it came to transaction 3, so my OOP between all 3 transactions was a lot higher than anticipated. Plus, I went without being fully planned out. I just had a rough guess as to what I wanted, and the main deal I went for I couldn't do. So, without furthur ado....

Transaction #1

Straightener (I was in DIRE need of one of these!) $19.99

(2) Reach Toothbrushes $6

Coupons Used:

BOGO Reach Toothbrushes
GC: $23.74

OOP: $1.32

Recieved: $5 (for Straightener), $6 (for TB), $5 (for spending $25)

Transaction #2

This is where things went nuts......

(2) Capri Sun $6

(3) Planters Peanuts $8.97 (this is where the problem is..they were suppossed be $3 each so that I could get the $5 RR. It took us forever to figure out that was what was not making the RR print. I pointed out that the ad said they were $3...the manager was dumb founded, so she just gave me a $5 RR from the drawer.)

Bald Guyz Wipes $4.99

Right Gaurd Professional $5.99

Coupons Used

$6 RR from Reach Toothbrushes

$5 RR from Straightener

$5 RR from spending $25

OOP: $10.17

RR Earned: $5 (from snacks) $5 (from spending $25)
MIR: $10.99 ($5 for Right Guard and $4.99 for wipes)

Transaction #3

I think at this point the manager was beyond confused. Which was okay...but she rubbed her confusion onto me...Not good!

Infusium $5.99
Infusium Conditioner Clearanced @ $4.49
Pantene Shampoo Clearanced @ $4.89
Pantene Conditioner Clearanced @ $4.89
(2) Reach Floss $6

Coupons Used
$1/2 Pantene
(2) $1 Reach Floss

I did not use my previous RR, which was the original plan, because the manager was convinced that it would not spit out any additional RR. I wish I would have just to show her that it would....but I had already consumed enough of her time, and my 3 year old was dying to go home, and we still had to clear things up from transaction #2. So....

OOP: $25.35
RR Earned: $8 (from shampoo), $6 (from Reach), and $5 (from spending $25)

Final Tally:
OOP: $36.84
RR still left: $29
MIR: $10.99

$3.15 PROFIT

Oh...and I forgot that for all 3 transactions I recieved a $10/25 coupon good at Fashion Bug. Hmm....I think I may see more shopping in my future!

Extra Wags Circular

**I've been too busy to deal, and I am behind on posting Walgreen's weekly deals...but I thought that I would throw this one out there. Walgreen's has added a mid week sales ad, I guess to drum up business. Here is the low down:
It is good December 3rd through the 6th. So, today through Saturday.

Buy $25 worth of good get $5 RR (some restrictions apply). There is no wording that says the $25 has to be after coupons, and as we all now, generally with RR deals you can use coupons and still get the RR. So, this could work out to be a pretty great deal.
ETA: ** From what I hear from my friends over at Hot Coupon World, these $5 RR WILL roll onto your next $25 deal! I have yet to try it..I'm making my list for tomorrow though!**

Also, Buy $15 of the following products and get $5 RR:

Capri Sun, on sale $3
Planters, on sale $3
Coke 2-liters, on sale 4/$5
Coke 12-pks., on sale 3/$10
Evian, Fuze, Powerade, Vitamin Water, on sale 4/$4.

Go to Walgreens.com to see the full ad for additional sale items and for restrictions.

If you are new to Walgreen's, go here.

Crazy Insane Wags Trip

Yesterday when I was grocery shopping I decided to go ahead and fly into Walgreen's to cash in on the Venus Razor deal. I've really been laying low on deal-ing...I've not had much spare time to work deals. When I made my way over to where the razors are, they were out! I was so mad...I just knew I would score one (or 5!) since I didn't wait till the end of the week like I usually do.

I found a worker, but couldn't locate the BA. So, she went over to the beauty counter and paged the BA. Little did we both know, but she was stocking shelves right next to us. So, we giggled about it a bit, and she went to get down off of the step stool to come help us. Well, somehow or another her foot got trapped in between the 2 steps and she fell face first onto the floor. It was absolutely terrifying! I left my buggy (and my 3 yo..oops!) and went running over to her. She managed to get up, but was very shaken.

The other employee told her to go to the back and she tried to get me all squared away. The system was saying that there were 24 razors in stock. She went into the back to search for them, but came back empty handed. I guess that the stock room was so full that she could hardly get to anything. They were to look for them that evening and then call me when they found them.

No one called me this morning and I had to run the big kids to the library this afternoon, so I stopped in and checked. Still empty. I found my favorite manager and told him the deal. He paged the same worker from yesterday and told her exactly where they were. She went back to go get them....and came back empty handed!! Gah! Apparently their count was off! What?! How in the world can you be off by 24?

I told her that I wouldn't be back any this week since I was going out of town for Thanksgiving, so she wrote me a rain check, minus the RR! Yippee!!

While we were trying to get things straightened out I asked her about the BA that fell. I guess that she ended up shattering her knee cap pretty badly, and she goes in for surgery in the morning...pins and all!!! I feel so bad! All this for FREE razors, that I haven't even got yet!

Walgreen's 11/16-11/22

Walgreen's is pretty quiet this week, again. Which I guess is okay since I'm pretty stocked up on most things. But, since there is really not much to go on about...I thought I would just leave the deal posting to Money Saving Mom. You find her deal post here.

Don't forget, though, that this is the last week for the November Easy Saver Book. If you haven't gotten your FAR items....do so before Saturday!

Happy Shopping!

Walgreen's Trip 10/25

Since I had to run back to the "big" town to get the things WalMart forgot to give me yesterday, I decided to make a mad dash back into Walgreens. I realized last night as I was looking over my rebates that I never bought the FAR L'Oreal Cleaser. I had to have it!

Kaitlyn insisted on being in the picture!

(4) 12 pk Pepsi products 4/$12
L'Oreal Cleanser $6.99
St. Ives Cleanser $4.99
Benefiber Stick Pack $4.99

Coupons Used
$2 St. Ives IP FP: $2.99
$2 off Any Benefiber FP: $2.99 (I was so stoked by my deals, until I started looking over the receipt. First off, they were out of the Strawberry Kiwi Stick Packs, but the BA said that she would give the regular one the same price as the SK, plus price modify to show the $5 ESQ since it wouldn't scan. I should have know that it was too good to be true! The FP should have been .99!)
$5/20
Paid w/$8 RR.
My total was $5..52 and I used $5 from the Pert back to school Rebate that I got in the mail this week.
OOP: .52
RR Earned: $5 from St. Ives, $2 from Pepsi
MIR: $7.69 from L'Oreal Cleanser (this includes the 10% bonus)

So, even after the Benefiber mess up...it was still a $7 and change moneymaker!
I don't know if I did the percent saved right on this one...but I came up with 120%. Wow!

Goodness Goodness

How much can one person fit into a day?

We've been busy as I'll get out today. It's been fun, but a little more stressful than I like!
The big kids didn't have school today due to Parent Teacher Confrences...so I thought we should do something fun. I should have just left it at that...but I hadn't done my bargain shopping for the week, and I was in dire need of my fix! :)
So, I finalize my deal (I decided to limit it to Walgreens ONLY..instead of my typical 4 store grocery shopping)...then we headed off to the "big" town.
I go to Walgreen's and clear up something the overcharged me for last week. (I forgot to post this deal last week..oops!). So...here is the pic of the goods...with the final OOP after they fixed overcharging me.

Walgreens trip 10/17

OOP: $2.19

RR Earned : $13

97% savings (not including RR)

Once that was all cleared up, I attempted to do my bargain hunting. Mind you I had all three kids in tow, dying to go to the Pumpkin Patch. Of course, since I waited until Friday to do my deals...they were out of Pert Plus and the Air Wick Neutra Air thingy majiggys. So, I was trying to rework the deal and concentrate on three kids. They were being fairly good...but I was deep in thought, or atleast trying to be! Anyway...not as low of an OOP as I wanted, but it is still a good score. (I'm seeing a trend with my high OOP...am I trying to too much at once..or what is the deal here?!)

Here's my loot:

After all my shopping...which was quite the feat, we made our way to the Pumpkin Patch. After we went there, we decided we needed to make a special "fall-ish" dinner this evening so we stopped off at Wal-Mart. Bought some goods, and came home to start dinner. Realized when we came home, WalMart didn't give us some of our items (thankfully nothing we needed for dinner).

We enjoyed a good meal, kids are wired from all the sugar, and I sit here EXHAUSTED!!!!! But stoked because even though I had a high OOP today at Walgreens..I still came out on top! :)

I really didn't see a whole lot this week...but visit Money Saving Mom for the breakdown.

Last Week Walgreens Trip

I'm beginning to get really bad at showing my shopping trips! Oops. The last week of September and the first week of October I never did show my shopping trips....but I did do pretty well on both. I guess you will just have to take my word on it. Ha.

I went again Friday, and used my gift card to pay for both transactions, so there was NOTHING OOP!! That, and I earned RR on the first transaction, and I bought more stuff with rebates, so I am rolling my money back onto the gift card. Hot Dog!

** I realized after I took/posted this picture that I forgot to put the (4) 12 pks of Diet Pepsi in there.**

I did 2 transactions because I had a TON of RR that I wanted to use to pay for part of my order, and I did't want to risk not getting them for the 2 items I had that earned RR. So here is my first transaction:

TOTAL: $6.58 (before tax was $1.55!!!!!!) on gift card nothing OOP.

***RR Earned: so much for keeping them seperate! I forgot all about the Oral-B TB since it wasn't on my list and was buried in my buggy. So, since I used a RR from the Oral B to pay for this transaction it didn't print a new one. Stink!**
