
We've got another full and eventful week ahead. The only evening we don't have something going on is Monday! Another shameless plug, but I must admit that my Home Management Binder has really saved my sanity and helped me keep it all together.
Fall is my favorite season, ever, so I am really looking forward to the Fall Festival that a few of my friends are hosting this week. Be sure to check it out!
Sunday:
- Breakfast: Fend for Yourself. We woke up later than normal--not much time for cooking!
- Lunch: Leftovers.
- Dinner: Finger Foods at church, and a quick Chicken/Rice casserole for the kids. ($1)(5 servings=.20/ea)
Monday:
- Breakfast: Egg Sandwiches.
- Dinner: Stuffed Green Peppers. ($2) Salad.(.50) WW Biscuits.(.67-found Pillsbury WW on sale and used coupon)($3.17)(5 servings=.63/ea)
- Making Vegetable Beef Soup, and extra French Bread for a family from our church--as well as enough for us to have for dinner Tuesday.
Tuesday:
- Breakfast: Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal (unfortunately we didn't get to this last week.)
- Dinner: Vegetable Beef Soup. ($3) HM French Bread.(.40)($3.40)(8 servings=.43/ea)
Wednesday:
- Breakfast: Steel Cut Oats w/fruit.
- Dinner: Experimental Dish; Black Eyed Peas with Stewed Tomatoes and Okra (tomatoes and okra from the garden). (.50) Leftover French Bread.(no cost) Dessert: Pumpkin Pie from scratch.(~$1)($1.50)(8 servings=.19/ea)
Thursday:
- Breakfast: Eggs and Sausage.
- Dinner: Cabbage Rolls.($2) Salad.(.50)($2.50)(8 servings=.31/ea)
Friday/Pizza-Movie Night:
- Breakfast: Cereal
- Dinner: Mexican Pizza w/lettuce and sour cream.($3) HM Refried Beans.(.50)($3.50)(5 servings=.70/ea)
Saturday:
- Breakfast: French Toast w/HM Vanilla Syrup
- Dinner: Hayride! Bringing Caramel Apple Trifle as well as an undecided side.

I like how you add up your estimated costs for each meal I think I should give this a shot just to see what meals I make are the most frugal. Thanks for the ideas and I think we will give your cabbage rolls a spot on our menu plan next week. Happy Fall!
