Menu Plan Week of November 22nd-28th

It's Thanksgiving Week! We'll be traveling for the better part of the week, so our meals are simple, and hotel friendly. I specifically requested a microwave and a refrigerator in our room so we wouldn't be forced to eat out or rely on family to feed us the whole time. Another thing I looked for in booking our hotel, was a free, hot breakfast. These really come in handy! We can eat a big breakfast and a small lunch this way.

I got a lot of ideas from The Happy Housewife's Hotel Menu Plan. I'm also happy to know that we aren't the only ones who eat in hotel rooms in order to save money. :)

I love the tri color bread braid! It's so pretty.

When I was young, my mom's friend used to make one with me - it was an onion and chedder bread braid. I have been searching for the recipes for ages with no luck. I remember it was so good fresh out of the oven with a bit of butter.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Pretty amazing planning, Phoebe. I've been really surprised how easy it is to get a microwave and refrigerator in hotels these days. It makes life so much easier and more economical. :-)

Thanks,
Shirley
