I'm behind. Like really really behind! My big kids were out of school basically all week last week, and are out again today, so I'm still trying to catch up!
I hope to have the Finding Freedom post up this week. This installment is about cutting costs at the grocery store. Be looking for it.
Also, I've added a couple of new things to my left sidebar that you might find of interest. First is Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover book. Definitely a must read for getting your finances on track.
Under that you will see the products (Fels Naptha Soap, Borax, and Washing Soda) that make up homemade laundry detergent. I do not use Fels Naptha Soap in mine, but that is what the original recipe calls for. It is a great stain remover.
I have also received 3 awards! Thank you so much ladies!

The Lemonade Award from Beth at Not a Bow in Sight. Thank you Beth!

And last but not least, The "Your Blog is Fabulous Award" from Shynea at Penny Pinching Diva. I was absolutely flattered when she said I was a financial goddess! That is a term I never thought would be used to describe me!
Thank you so much, ladies! I truly am honored and humbled.
And, another big announcement.....
My first article is posted over at Blissfully Domestic! I love that site, and if you haven't checked it out, you need to. You can view my article here.
Thank you for your patience as I get back on track here. You all are such an encouragement to me, and I love you all!!

Congrats on your first article!
I just started reading your blog and can't wait to go to my Walgreens to check out their Easy Saver specials.
Thanks for sharing your laundry soap recipe. I am skeptical also but now that I have read your post I can't wait to try it out. What scented oil did you use?
I just found your site last night and I am amazed at how much debt you have paid off!!! You should be so proud of yourself!!! I listen to Dave Rasmey almost everyday but I still can't bring myself to buckle down. We are planning on putting some of our tax return into the bank to start our emergency fund. I guess it's like starting a diet a little scary :) Do you have any tips on entertainment savings?
You deserve it! You are really inspiring me that we can get our debt paid off!
